For years, Kodak Gold 200 has been an incredibly popular everyday film, beloved by professionals and casual photographers alike for delivering a classic, nostalgic warmth, great reds and wonderful skin tones. Perfect for capturing sunny days, vacations, and everyday memories, this versatile color negative film offers a fantastic balance of vibrant, saturated colors, fine grain, and excellent sharpness.
Helpful tips for this film stock:
Lighting: Gold 200 shines brightest in daylight. Use it outdoors on sunny or partly cloudy days, or indoors with a flash.
Exposure: Expose at box speed (200 ISO) for its signature look, or overexpose at 100 ISO for richer, pastel-like tones and enhanced shadow detail. Like most color negative films, it handles overexposure beautifully but does not like being underexposed much past a stop.
Warm Tones: Expect beautiful, warm yellows and reds—perfect for skin tones and summer landscapes.
